Meet Cameron White

Law Office of Cameron H.P. White, PAAs your attorney, I understand that handling your legal needs and getting the best possible outcome is only part of my job. The other part is making sure that the whole experience doesn’t keep you awake at night–we want you to feel comfortable throughout the process.

If you’re contacting me, I know it’s probably because something’s gone wrong and needs to be fixed or because you want to take steps to ensure that something won’t go wrong and need to be fixed in the future. That’s what I’m here for.

Although I have a very informal style and feel genuine compassion for the stress my clients are going through, I am surprisingly passionate about the law and getting the details right. Every aspect of every legal matter involves documents that must be absolutely perfect. The smallest detail can make a huge difference in the outcome, and I work tirelessly to ensure those details are just what they should be.

However, whether I’m assisting with a real estate transaction, developing an estate plan, or drafting documents for the sale of a business, I work to understand the big picture first before I delve into the details. The solution should be designed to meet the full range of your needs, so I assess all the goals and then I can tailor plans to work together to address all the legal concerns cohesively.

For instance, clients will sometimes come in thinking all they need is a simple change in their will. But when I start learning more about the situation, I might find out that they have an adult child with special needs that they need to plan for. Or the client might own interests in a partnership and there’s no plan for how heirs would be compensated for the client’s share in that business.

I’m happy to meet face to face or take your call when you have a question—and I work hard to try to make even complicated legal issues understandable.

I’m a native Floridian, raised in Highlands County and Polk County. Although I’ve always considered central Florida to be home, I did move to Jacksonville for a time where I earned my business degree from the University of North Florida and my law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. And I met my wife up there and we started a family, before returning to this area with our two daughters and our dog, Macie.

When I’m not helping clients, I enjoy taking advantage of what Florida has to offer. I like to play golf, hang out at the beach, and travel to new locations with my wife, Teresa, and my daughters, Hannah and Peyton. I even like to cook–at least a little.

So gimme a call. Let me know what you enjoy doing. Maybe we have something in common.

Personal

My wife, Teresa, and I have two children, Hannah and Peyton. Our daughters are attending college together at the University of Central Florida, where Hannah is majoring in Event Management. Peyton will be concentrating her studies in Marketing beginning this summer.

Meanwhile, as Florida natives, we enjoy the beach and traveling to new locations together.

Navigating Complex Legal Issues

Within written legal agreements or documents, there is a lot of complexity. Every word has a purpose, so getting even the smallest details right is critical. There’s a famous case from 2017 in which a missing comma cost a dairy company in Maine an estimated $5 million!

That’s why it’s essential to work with an attorney you can meet face-to-face – someone happy to take your call and give you the answers you need to understand and be comfortable with even the most complicated legal issues.

I have a passion for the law, getting the details right, and genuine compassion for my clients. I understand that resolving legal issues can be stressful, especially for clients who don’t work with attorneys very often. The stakes are often high, and the issues are complex.

As I see it, my job is to ensure my clients get the best possible outcome from the legal issue we’re working to resolve, including ensuring all those small details are perfectly in place. At the same time, I want to make sure my clients understand what’s happening with their case so that they can get a good night’s sleep every night.

As an attorney who has been practicing since 2006, I understand how dealing with legal issues can make many people feel a little anxious, especially if they're not used to it. Let's face it... If you're working with an attorney, it's usually because one or both of two scenarios exist:

1. The stakes are high. You may be purchasing a home, some other type of real estate, or a business, which means you’re investing a lot of money. Or, you have a large, complex estate and want to ensure your family is protected.

2. Something’s gone wrong and needs to be fixed. Maybe you’re being sued, and you want solid legal representation on your side. Or you’re a business owner, and a partner or vendor hasn’t lived up to the terms of a contract, and you want to be made whole.

As your attorney, I understand that handling your legal needs and getting the best possible outcomes is only part of my job. The other part is making sure that the whole experience doesn’t keep you awake at night – that you’re comfortable throughout the process.

Communication YOUR Way

For someone working with an attorney for the first time, the entire process is probably a mystery, which can be stressful. The best way to ease that stress is to take that mystery out of it by encouraging you to ask as many questions as you like, then ensuring you understand what’s going on with your case, so there are few surprises.

On the other hand, if you have a lot of experience working with lawyers, which is often true of entrepreneurs and business owners, you probably want to be kept informed about the important developments in your case. You’re likely to appreciate communication that is accurate but concise.

Here’s What Gets Me Up in the Morning…

What I enjoy the most about being an attorney is working directly with people – individuals, families, and business owners – who need legal advice or a solution to a problem. To me, it's rewarding to be the person people trust enough to share what they're going through and what outcomes they want.

And that’s a promise I am happy to make to you. As a valued client, you will always know where you stand, what’s going on, and what you can expect with your case. Keeping you well-informed and comfortable with the process… it’s part of my job and the most important part.

I am an accomplished attorney and strategic leader with extensive experience building consensus and facilitating creative and innovative solutions. I have a proven ability to analyze and synthesize complex information and convey it to a diverse audience. Additionally, I have successfully established results-oriented, high-performance teams that consistently delivered quality, cost-effective, and timely results.

A golf professional prior to attending law school, I have become proficient in real estate (commercial and residential), business, wills/trust/probate administration, and assisting owners, operators, and associations with their golf courses.
